18 May 2012: Ecofair Berlin – “Think! Innovate! Survive…!”

Ecofair Berlin is the first, and so far only, trade fair of ideas.

The character of the trade fair is somewhat removed from the usual trade fairs concerned with ecological products, respectively they offer ecological products from just one sector.

 

Ecofair Berlin, by contrast, aims to show a whole range of new ideas and solutions, innovative advancements, development and research directions, which can together contribute to the long-term sustainability of life on earth and, individually, at least improve life conditions in various areas be it geographical or technological.

 

Those participating in the trade fair include development groups from leading research institutes, industry, universities and other scientists from around the world.

 

The main aims of the Ecofair Berlin trade fair are:

• contribute at least a small part in increasing people’s ecological knowledge

• point visitors in the direction to take in order to improve living conditions on Earth

• build a trade fair which will be rewarding for the exhibitors to participate in

• support even those ecological projects which are from a global point of view “insignificant”
